We are seeking a Software Engineering Product Quality (SW-EPQ) who will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet high quality standards throughout the entire software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have an automotive technical background in software engineering. The SW-EPQ should be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that our products meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Work with project management and engineering teams to ensure compliance with quality processes & requirements. Assigned as part of core team to key focus projects critical for business unit future and performance metrics.


• Development support and approval of project quality assurance plan (QAP).


• Ensure quality gates and processes are executed in accordance with quality standards (static analysis, code review, etc), including configuration management.


• Guide and consult projects in technical aspects of quality processes.


• Analyze quality metrics and provide feedback to project and quality management.


• Support internal reviews (ASPICE assessment, Safety-Analysis, FMEA etc.).


• Support Lessons Learned and problem-solving activities.


• Strong collaboration with SW EPQ's located overseas (India, Vietnam, Germany)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field


• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering


• Automotive technical background in software engineering


• Problem-solving and analytical skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Experience with quality management systems and processes is a value add


• Fluency in English (Japanese language skills are an advantage)
