Join our global communications team as a Japan Public Relations Specialist.
We're seeking a skilled professional to spearhead external communications, strategically build brand awareness in Japan and the broader region, promoting a positive public image and controlling the dissemination of information on our behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage media engagements for Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region
- Draft and distribute media content
- Develop multifaceted communication plans
- Manage editorial and research calendars
- Manage company-led surveys and research
- Develop and write content
- Track and develop analytical reports of traditional media and social media performance
- Attend and provide public relations support at events
- Maintain Japan's media page on keepersecurity.com
- Manage crisis communications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional public relations and external communications experience
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations or relevant field
- Bilingual in English and Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Confident team player with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills
- Results-driven and detail-oriented self-starter who strives for excellence
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts with experience in the cybersecurity or technology space preferred
- Ability to distill complicated information into plain language
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
