Our client, a leading global investment banking and capital markets firm, is seeking a Financial Controller for their Tokyo office. This role offers the opportunity to lead finance operations in Japan, reporting directly to the Asia Corporate Controller.

業務内容 / Key Responsibilities:
- すべての会計業務の管理(請求書発行、売掛金、買掛金、総勘定元帳)
- 規制報告書の作成を調整し、レビューを実施
- 月次および年次財務諸表の作成をリード
- 外部および内部監査、税務調査への対応
- 月末および年末の決算プロセスの管理
- 財務取引および報告の品質管理を確保
- 内部統制のための業務プロセスの開発と文書化
- 地域および全国の税務申告のコンプライアンス管理
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL
- Coordinate and review regulatory reporting preparation
- Lead monthly and annual financial statement preparation
- Respond to external and internal audits and tax inspections
- Manage month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
- Develop and document business processes for internal controls
- Manage compliance with local and national tax filings
応募資格 / Qualifications:
- 銀行または資本市場での10年以上の会計/財務経験
- 公認会計士または同等の資格
- 証券業、銀行業、税務規制に関する深い理解
- 会計または財務の学士号または修士号
- 日本語と英語の流暢な能力
- IFRSおよびUS GAAPの経験
- 金融機関における金融リスク管理の経験
- 10+ years of Accounting/Finance experience in banking or capital markets
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of broker dealer, banking, and tax regulations
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Experience with IFRS and US GAAP
- Experience with financial risk management in financial institutions
