We are supporting a
top-tier HR & technology group in Japan
They are expanding their global engineering organization and seeking experienced Web Engineers who can contribute to AI-related product development.
About the Role
You will work directly with business stakeholders from the initial planning phase through actual product creation. This is a highly impactful position where you help shape new services leveraging AI and modern web technologies.
You will collaborate closely with SEs and data scientists who handle AI model development and advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Participate in zero-based planning and ideation with business owners
- Lead end-to-end product development for AI-enabled services
- Propose technical approaches and evaluate alternative solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams including SEs and data scientists
- Contribute to modern development practices (CI/CD, IaC, automation, etc.)
- Take part in technology selection depending on the project

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Web Application Engineer
- Hands-on development experience using cloud services
(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) - Business-level Japanese + business-level English
Preferred Qualifications
(Must have at least one of the following):
- Web application development incorporating AI
- CI/CD, IaC, process improvements
- Experience with
React
or
Django - Experience in upstream processes, PM, or Agile development
- Experience working with offshore development teams in the Philippines or familiarity with Philippine engineering environments
Annual Salary
JPY 7,500,000+
(based on experience and skills)
