Global System Development Engineer
Our client is a leading provider of web filtering and cybersecurity solutions, dedicated to creating a safer internet through cutting-edge technologies. With strong business performance and ongoing growth, they are expanding their team
Join their efforts in researching and developing classification systems for global web content, including websites and applications. Your work will go beyond standard filtering, encompassing application policy enforcement and threat intelligence.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of data sources and stay ahead of the curve in areas like AI and cybersecurity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and operate SDKs and cloud-based classification solutions
- Design and maintain backend systems and databases in a cloud environment
- Participate in meetings with native English speakers
- Provide technical and customer support
- Investigate and review the latest global web apps and games
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of development experience using: Linux, Container, gRPC, Python, C / C++
- Japanese: fluent (JLPT N1 or strong N2)
English: business-level

Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in development using GoLang or C, or experience with natural language processing or distributed systems; interest in machine learning or generative AI
- Interest in networks, encryption technologies, or threat intelligence
- Experience as a bridge engineer in offshore development projects
- Interest in improving development processes (SRE or CI/CD), enhancing customer satisfaction (CX), or operating container orchestration tools
- Enjoys exploring new games or web apps, traveling solo internationally, and tasting unique or rare global cuisines
Compensation & Further Details
- Monthly Salary:
about ¥380,000–¥420,000 - (Includes housing/ownership allowance: up to ¥100,000/month)
- Bonuses:
