An opportunity is available to join a fast-moving event management team of approximately 10 professionals supporting a major foreign-affiliated IT company.
This role is ideal for individuals who can leverage strong language skills while taking an active part in end-to-end event operations.
The RoleThe Event Manager plays a key role in the planning and preparation of events, acting as the central point of coordination from concept to execution.
By working closely with clients, the EM gathers requirements, prepares documentation and materials, and connects stakeholders across service lines such as catering, security, and technical production, as well as on-site teams.
This role requires strong multitasking skills to manage multiple events simultaneously, excellent schedule management with a backward-planning approach, and the ability to anticipate needs beyond what is explicitly stated.
What You'll Do
Lead event discovery and strategy, understanding objectives, requirements, and budgets, and recommending creative enhancements to maximize impact and ROI.
Coordinate all event logistics and services, including space planning, production, AV, decor, catering, security, entertainment, transportation, and on-site operations.
Manage cross-functional communication and execution
Oversee multiple events simultaneously
What You'll Bring
Native-level English and N2 Japanese (Able to make presentations and negotiate smoothly)
5+ years experience in the media space
Experience in event planning, operation, production, marketing, or agency work (event coordinator, event manager, project manager, production desk, producer, director, etc.)
Experience in using G-suite / Google Workspace
