The Role
We are seeking a proactive and creative
Community Engagement Intern
to facilitate and grow our online presence. Your primary focus will be our Slack workspace, where you will serve as the lead facilitator for member interaction. This role is ideal for a digitally savvy individual with an extroverted personality who excels at building professional relationships in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Discussion:
Develop and implement strategies to prompt consistent, high-quality engagement within our Slack community. - Inquiry Management:
Monitor community channels to provide timely, professional responses to member inquiries and facilitate connections. - Creative Programming:
Brainstorm and execute innovative initiatives—such as digital networking sessions, themed discussions, or spotlight series—to add value to the community. - Multi-Platform Expansion:
Assist in scaling our engagement efforts across other social platforms, including Facebook, X, and Instagram. - Mission Alignment:
Ensure all community interactions reflect our core values of inclusivity and professional support.
Qualifications
- Communication Style:
Naturally extroverted with a professional written tone. You should be comfortable initiating conversations with founders and stakeholders. - Technical Proficiency:
Strong familiarity with Slack and major social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram). - Creative Thinking:
Ability to propose fresh ideas to keep digital engagement high and meaningful. - Language Skills:
Japanese language proficiency
is a significant advantage, though not a requirement. - Cultural Fit:
A genuine interest in the startup ecosystem and a belief in our mission to support international business growth.
