About the location:
The 123-room Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company's second destination in Japan, in the city's historic Higashiyama-ku district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic. The Hotel has a spa and fitness centre with a pool, and four food and beverage concepts. There are also be 57 Four Seasons Private Residences.
The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is looking for a Conference Service Manager, or Conference Service Assistant Manager. Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Commercial Division, the Conference Service Manager, Conference Service Assistant Manager works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.
Successful candidate require to speak, and write fluently in Japanese & English.
About The Role
The Conference Service Manager, or Conference Service Assistant Manager primary role is to serve as the client's sole hotel liason to all hotel divisions to arrange and support corporate and group bookings, meetings and social event.
Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
Supports the Director of Catering.
What You Will Do
- Leads pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
- Manages customer budgets to maximize revenue and meet customer needs.
- Oversees his/her customer experiences from file turnover through the post event
- Conducts pre- and post-event meetings as required to review/communicate group needs and feedback.
- Manages group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups.
What You Bring
Preferred two or three years experience in related position with Four Seasons or other organization
