JOB SUMMARY

The PR associate plays a key role in supporting and executing the hotel's brand communication strategy.

This position works closely with the Hotel PR Manager, external agencies, Bvlgari Japan and Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts Headquarters, while also handling media communications, to ensure the alignment and delivery of consistent, timely, and high-quality brand communications across all channels.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on PR professional with a strong understanding of luxury hospitality, media relations, and digital storytelling, capable of managing projects independently while aligning with global brand standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations, including social media management as part of broader PR responsibilities, ideally within the luxury hospitality, Jewelry & Watch, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors, or within a PR/communications agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations, content creation, and execution of PR campaigns.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies and global headquarters is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) 
  • Good copywriting skills tailored to press release and social media storytelling. 
  • Fluency in English and Japanese. 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Support the Hotel PR Manager in daily PR activities, including media relations, press inquiries, interviews, and event coordination.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of media events, media stays, and brand activations.
  • Prepare PR reports.
  • Coordinate internally with relevant hotel departments to ensure the smooth execution of PR initiatives.
  • Maintain and organize PR records, media lists, event files, and approval materials in accordance with internal processes.
  • Liaise closely with the global Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts PR team to ensure message alignment, timely reporting, and brand consistency across markets.
  • Facilitate and manage Instagram operations for Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo's Instagram account, in collaboration with appointed agencies and BHR HQ
  • Oversee Instagram content calendars and ensure posts are executed according to the agreed schedule.
  • Attend and support photo and video shoots as required, coordinating with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
