The PR Manager is responsible for building, owning, and executing Musashi's global public relations and external communications strategy from the ground up.

This role plays a critical role in shaping corporate narrative, strengthening brand credibility, and increasing enterprise value through close collaboration with management, IR, marketing, and business units.

The PR Manager acts as the central owner of PR strategy, ensuring consistent, accurate, and audience-appropriate messaging across regions, while driving both corporate reputation and commercial impact.

1. PR & External Communication Strategy Development

Design and build Musashi's global PR and external communication strategy from scratch, aligned with corporate vision, business priorities, and long-term growth strategy.

Define clear communication objectives, key narratives, priority messages, and success metrics across corporate, product, and business communications.

Establish PR governance, processes, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across regions and business units.

1. Corporate Narrative & Brand Value Creation

Develop and articulate our corporate story, value proposition, and long-term positioning for external stakeholders, including media, partners, customers, and investors.

Translate complex business, technology, and transformation initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that enhance brand credibility and corporate value.

1. IR Collaboration & Enterprise Value Communication

Work closely with the IR team to align PR and IR messaging, ensuring consistency between financial communication and broader corporate storytelling.

Support communication strategies that strengthen investor confidence and corporate valuation through clear, credible, and well-timed external messaging.

Assist in communicating mid- to long-term growth strategies, new business initiatives, and transformation efforts to the investment community through coordinated PR activities.

1. Business Unit & Product Communication

Partner closely with each business unit to understand products, services, customers, and commercial priorities.

Develop targeted communication plans that deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time, maximizing market relevance and commercial impact.

Support product launches, new business announcements, partnerships, and customer success stories through structured PR plans.

1. Media Relations & Thought Leadership

Build and maintain strong relationships with key global and regional media, industry analysts, and influencers.

Plan and execute media outreach, press releases, interviews, and briefings to proactively shape market perception.

Position executives and subject-matter experts as thought leaders through strategic storytelling and media engagement.

1. Cross-Regional & Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the central PR point of contact, coordinating with regional teams to ensure alignment while respecting local market needs.

Collaborate closely with marketing, product marketing, HR, legal, and management teams to ensure accurate and compliant communication.

Manage external PR agencies and vendors as needed, ensuring strategic alignment and execution quality.

1. Crisis Communication

Develop and maintain crisis communication frameworks and response processes.

Act as a key contributor in managing reputational risks and sensitive communication situations in coordination with management and legal teams.

Bachelor's degree is preferred

Minimum 10 years experience in Communications or PR fieled

Experience in B2B, manufacturing, technology, energy, or industrial sectors preferred

Proven track record of managing media relations and PR campaigns

Strong writing and storytelling skills in Japanese

Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal)

Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
