Role Explanation

The Data & Analytics Manager will lead the rollout and ongoing evolution of the global data platform in Japan, covering sell-out, sell-through, stock-in-trade, and sell-in data.

This role acts as a critical bridge between business and technology, localizing global and regional data solutions for the Japan market. You will ensure data quality, effective stakeholder communication, and drive adoption of global/regional reports that support commercial, finance, and supply chain decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities (R&R)

  • Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and manage priorities with global and zone teams.
  • Adapt global data models and KPIs to Japan-specific channels, retailers, and business rules.
  • Work with data stewards to validate data and ensure data quality, coordinating issue resolution with IT and data teams.
  • Lead adoption of harmonized BI dashboards and reports for sales, inventory, and financial performance.
  • Drive change management and user adoption through training, documentation, and ongoing support.

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of experience in data, BI, or analytics roles (FMCG, retail, or consumer goods preferred).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of sell-in, sell-out, sell-through, and inventory metrics.
  • Fluency in English and conversational Japanese.(business speaking in japanese, read and write is not required)

Nice-to-Have /

  • Experience in luxury, beauty, or Japan/APAC markets.
  • Prior collaboration with finance, controlling, or supply chain teams.

ポジション概要:

データ&アナリティクスマネージャーは、日本におけるグローバルデータプラットフォームの導入および継続的な高度化をリードするポジションです。

Sell-out、Sell-through、在庫(Stock-in-trade)、Sell-inといった主要データを対象に、
ビジネスとITの橋渡し役
として、グローバル/リージョナルのデータソリューションを日本市場向けに最適化していただきます。

データ品質の担保、関係者との円滑なコミュニケーション、そして営業・財務・サプライチェーンの意思決定を支援するレポートの定着・活用促進を担います。

役割・責任

  • Google Cloud Platform(GCP)を基盤としたデータプラットフォームの導入および機能強化をリード
  • ビジネス要件を明確な技術仕様へ落とし込み、グローバル/ゾーンチームと優先順位を調整
  • 日本特有のチャネル、リテーラー、業務ルールに合わせてグローバルのデータモデルおよびKPIをローカライズ
  • データスチュワードと連携し、データ検証・品質管理を実施。課題発生時はIT/データチームと連携して解決を推進
  • 売上、在庫、財務パフォーマンスに関する統合BIダッシュボード/レポートの利用定着を推進
  • トレーニング、ドキュメント整備、継続的なサポートを通じて、チェンジマネジメントとユーザー活用を促進

必要スキル・経験

  • データ、BI、アナリティクス分野での実務経験5年以上(FMCG/小売/消費財業界経験歓迎)
  • SQLの実務スキルおよびクラウドデータ基盤(GCP、Azure等)の利用経験
  • Power BI、Looker、Tableau等のBIツールの実務経験
  • Sell-in/Sell-out/Sell-through/在庫指標に関する理解
  • ステークホルダーマネジメントおよびチェンジマネジメントの実績
  • 英語ビジネスレベル以上,日本語:会話レベル、
