We are looking for a Commercial Technical Applications Specialist who will be part of the Grifols Diagnostics' BTS (immunohematology) business/operations team.
You will continue to build market equity for the Grifols BTS Diagnostics brand by interacting and forging solid relationships with business partners, policy makers, health authorities, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and customers. You will also provide and maintain high levels of customer service satisfaction.
The role is a key driver in the delivery of Japan sales, strategic, and financial goals and presents the ability to demonstrate leadership as part of the Japan Diagnostics Commercial team to continue to build market equity for the Grifols Diagnostics brand in Japan which is 7 million USD business.
What your main responsibilities will be
You will have the opportunity to:
- Grow the BTS business in Japan by achieving BTS Annual Target and Sales and EBIT budget.
- Collaborate with distributors to influence strategy for current and future product portfolio components, delivering sales and profits with agreed budgets, and providing effective leadership.
- Proactively shape the country market environment, defend and improve Grifols market position and depth of market access by developing strong, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders (especially regulators, Japanese Association of Medical Technologists, patient groups, customers, media, key accounts and KOLs).
- Execute on territory business strategy (based on global vision/strategy) and ensure that these are reflected in a focused, lean, and responsive way.
- Actively leverage Japan distributor infrastructure and activities to develop business synergies.
- Work and collaborate with distributor and CTS team members to ensure all necessary services are executed.
- Provide Grifols with information on the IH market and competitors.
- Support the technical side of new product launches.
Who you are

- You are specialized in Health Science.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as laboratory technician in a blood bank or hospital laboratory or you as Technical Applications Specialist in our sector.
- You have a medium level of English.
- You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- You are available to travel when required.
