We are responsible for compliance within Rakuten Group (including the GRC area, as well as the legal and intellectual property, etc).
Department Overview
We are in charge of compliance for Rakuten Mobile and other related organizations that have an important position in the Rakuten Group.
In Rakuten Mobile, Inc. and related companies belonging to same internal company, we are working to develop a structure in the GRC area for further growth.
This is a great opportunity to participate in the development of an important business structure in a dynamic environment.

Position Details
In a rapidly changing environment associated with the launch of new business, you will be expected to independently find issues, logical solution, and to carry out it in cooperation with department members.
Responsibilities
Assessment of risk in line with ERM planning, management and monitoring in C&E (including Rakuten Symphony)
- Design & Implement incident reporting structure
- Monitor recurrence prevention actions of major Incident
- Periodically report to Executives on Incident management
- Assist new service/product implementation in terms of major risks
- Assist communication with Government authorities
- Structure risk response in consideration of business expansion
Work Environment
There are five groups under the section.
The number of staffs is around 20 as a section.
Mid-careers are hired from manufacturers, consulting firms, IT services, and government agencies, etc.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Working experience in English (Business level)
Those who have one or more experience as follows
Examples
Create Business-wide Risk strategy
Project involving multi-stakeholders including Executives
Agile type project
Large-scale ICT system implement project
Global projects
Desired Qualifications:
Risk management experience in a global company (Working experience in English)
- Working experience in Telecommunications business (carriers and its vendors)
- Launch new businesse or project
- Frequent Presentation for Executives
