Ahead Staffing is seeking a skilled engineer for one of our leading global e-commerce clients, dedicated to empowering individuals and society through internet innovation. The team is looking for an experienced engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of Logging as a Service, focusing on building and maintaining highly scalable logging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Web APIs using Go-lang to support the logging platform.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency, using Go-lang, Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Chef, etc.
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers to ensure platform reliability.
- Produce technical documentation, including architecture and sequence diagrams, proposals, etc.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and sharing technical expertise.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in API development (Go-lang).
- Strong understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting skills (DNS, TCP/UDP).
- Basic knowledge of Linux server management.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with logging tools such as ELK stack and Splunk.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Chef.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Practical knowledge of test-driven development (TDD).
- Experience with other programming languages, such as Python.
