Marketing and distributing equity derivatives, including delta one products, vanilla options, structured derivatives, QIS, etc. in Japan.
Provide support on Japanese client development and onboarding.
Work closely with structuring and trading teams to develop customized product solutions for financial institutions, distributors, and asset managers in Japan.
Leverage global sales teams to increase cross-selling and enhance business relationships with the overseas offices of Japanese clients.Act as a solution sales professional, sometimes going beyond EQD products by collaborating with other departments to expand both client and firm business opportunities.
Design, propose, execute, and ensure smooth post-trade operations for transactions, taking into account internal resources, capabilities, and external regulatory environments.
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and evolving client needs to proactively identify new business opportunities and propose innovative equity derivative solutions.
Maintain high standards of compliance and risk management throughout the sales process, ensuring all activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
RequirementsBachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or Engineering discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in derivatives-related trading, structuring, sales, or IT development
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Analyst level
Good command of programming in Python would be an advantage
Demonstrated familiarity with derivatives products and regulatory environments
Strong client serving skills
A team player with enthusiastic mind
Fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and English
Excellent command of Mandarin would be an advantage
Certified as CMA and CFA
