What you'll do:
- Perform post-editing of German text across Klook's platforms and product content
- Post-edit and review UI on Klook app and website, revamp localized UI to enhance user experience
- Provide timely post-editing for any urgent content and support immediate business needs such as media releases, internal global-to-local communication, training materials, digital advertisements, etc
- Evaluate AI generated translation by offering constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Ensure all translations meet our high-quality standards, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all content
- Maintain language style guide and termbase on a regular basis
- Closely collaborate with all stakeholders, including project managers, other in-house linguists, copywriters, marketers, etc
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, interpretation or related fields
- Minimum 1-2 years of localization/post-editing experience (English to German)
- Practical experience with at least one TMS (e.g. XTM, Trados, memoQ etc.), MS Office and Google collaboration tools
- Knowledge of localization processes and quality assurance practices
- Excellent writing style with an impeccable knowledge of spelling and grammar in German
- Great written and oral communication skills in English
- Globally minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Comfortable with fast-paced environment, able to work with tight deadlines
- Highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, not afraid to work independently when required
- Experience in AI translation development preferred
- Experience in e-Commerce preferred
- Experience with project management preferred
