Your Role
As a Senior Technical Consultant in the Production and Architecture Consultancy team (PAC), you will make sure that the customers are accompanied through each phase of the product life cycle (pre-sales, implementation, and support).
You will oversee the deployment, performance, reliability, operability, security, and other non-functional requirements of the MX.3 platform instances. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
You will collaborate closely with the Product Development division and other teams within the Client Services division to achieve an effective integration of a capital market enterprise system, ensuring both technical excellence and cost efficiency.
Role
This role provides consulting work to ensure that the clients from various countries in the Asia Pacific region are happy with the technical aspects. Responsibility include:
- Building and developing expertise on the Murex platform.
- Analyzing and implementing improvements for system stability, reliability, and performance through issue analysis, benchmarking, and performance profiling.
- The incumbent serves as the point of contact for Murex System production and architecture technical issues and is regarded as the client's trusted partner.
- Additionally, the role involves assisting clients with sizing, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining their infrastructure (hardware and software on which the MX.3 platform runs).
Your Profile
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant technical experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
- Capital markets software experience (trading, risk management or operations). Prior technical experience with Murex MX.3 platform is a must.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, networking
- Programming skills (C, C++, Java)
- Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
- Knowledge in Cloud technology (AWS, Azure)
- Curiosity and a strong desire to learn
- Ability to collaborate and work well in a team
- Systematic problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of multi-threaded programming, design patterns and middleware.
- Experience in debugging tools such as Valgrind, GDB, BPF, Java profilers such as MAT would be an advantage.
- DB administration level will be an advantage.
