Job Purpose
The IT Delivery Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex product development initiatives that align with business objectives. Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, this role ensures product-related solutions are delivered within agreed scope, on time, within budget, and in compliance with required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day owner of assigned IT product development projects, coordinating all activities and communications.
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops; document business and technical requirements and obtain stakeholder approval.
- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, detailed project plans, budgets, and risk / regression registers.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across development, infrastructure, security, QA, and operations teams.
- Drive continuous process improvements and adoption of best practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
- Support procurement activities, including RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee technical integration with third-party systems and internal platforms.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, information security, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage change control, issue resolution, and escalation processes in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and govern User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and formal sign-off.
- Mentor and provide guidance to business analysts, project coordinators, and junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in IT project delivery and management.
- Proven delivery experience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
- Experience working with onshore and offshore development teams.
- Exposure to integrated enterprise environments (ERP, CRM, APIs, cloud-based platforms).
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and ITIL principles.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence).
Language Skills
- Native-level or fluent Japanese (spoken and written).
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to English documentation and emails.
