About The Role
As a Change Manager, you will make an impact by leading transformative change initiatives for our Life Sciences clients in Tokyo. You will be a valued member of our Consulting team, working collaboratively with client stakeholders, project teams, and Cognizant colleagues to deliver successful change management strategies.
In This Role, You Will
- Develop and implement change strategies tailored to client needs, considering current state, goals, and risks.
- Engage and manage stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and readiness for change.
- Create and facilitate Change Advisory Boards (CABs) to review, evaluate, and prioritize change requests.
- Oversee transition management, ensuring smooth handover from development to operations.
- Drive effective communication, documentation, and reporting of change impacts and outcomes.
- Design and deliver training programs to support adoption of new processes or systems.
Work Model
This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week at the client office in Tokyo. While there may be a possibility of partial remote work in the future (to be confirmed), the initial expectation is that the selected candidate will work onsite daily. What You Must Have To Be Considered
- Prior experience as an Organization Change Manager in large transformative projects.
- Strategic planning skills to develop and articulate a clear vision for change, set goals, and devise actionable plans.
- Strong analytical skills for conflict assessment, risk identification, and management planning.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in distributed teams across regions/time zones.
- Fluent or native Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) and advanced English proficiency (speaking and writing).
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Change Management Specialist (CMS), or equivalent.
