1. What is "Rakuten National Super"?
Rakuten National Super is a service launched in January 2022 as a platform that enables supermarkets across Japan to open and operate online supermarkets. It can be imagined as an "online supermarket version of Rakuten Ichiba." Leading supermarkets in Japan, including Seiyu, Beisia, and Inageya, as well as renowned and influential local supermarkets, have signed up to open online supermarkets. The number of participating supermarkets is expected to grow, and our service provides support for the launch and expansion of their online supermarket businesses, along with guidance towards early profitability.

The online supermarket market continues to experience double-digit year-over-year growth, and high growth is projected to continue. This trend is driven by increasing market demand due to factors such as the aging customer base of physical supermarket stores and the rise in dual-income households.

Position Details
Key Responsibilities
- Strategizing and proposing netsuper business models and e-commerce channel enhancements to retail partners, including supermarkets.
- Providing consulting support for the development of netsuper business plans.
- Planning and proposing strategic alliances with various stakeholders, including government bodies, local municipalities, and delivery service providers.
Past Project Highlights
- Transforming Existing Delivery Services: Successfully transitioned a major retailer (annual sales: ¥80 billion) from their traditional home delivery service to an advanced online supermarket model utilizing Rakuten zenkokusuper.
- Digitizing Traditional Sales: Spearheaded the digital transformation of a ¥100 billion retailer's analog pre-order sales system by integrating it with Rakuten zenkokusuper.
- Community Support Scheme: Designed a regional shopping support scheme in collaboration with delivery partners, endorsed by local government agencies.

Team Structure
- The Supermarket OMO/DX Division's OMO-PF Section has a team of just over 20 members, primarily in their 20s and 30s.
Of these, 8 members belong to the Account Management Group, which is your assigned department.
- Approximately 60% are mid-career hires, while about 40% joined Rakuten Group, Inc. directly after graduation.

- 5+ years of B2B sales experience.
