About the Role

We are looking for a
Sales Marketing Event Specialist

to support our Japan Sales team in generating qualified B2B leads through events, conferences, and industry engagements. This role combines event execution with hands-on sales support, helping to bridge marketing activities and business results in the IT/SaaS sector. You will play a key role in bridging
marketing execution and sales results

, ensuring each event effectively contributes to our pipeline and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend B2B events, trade shows, and seminars to generate high-quality leads for the Sales team.
  • Research and identify relevant local industry events, conferences, and sponsorship opportunities in Japan's IT/SaaS landscape.
  • Represent the company at events, actively engaging with potential clients to capture and qualify leads.
  • Support the Sales team with lead management, follow-up coordination, and nurturing activities after events.
  • Track and manage leads generated from events and ensure smooth follow-up with the Sales team.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing and global teams to align messaging, branding, and campaign strategies.
  • Evaluate event performance and provide post-event analysis to improve ROI and lead quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of B2B marketing or event coordination experience

IT or SaaS industry

- Familiarity with Japan's B2B event ecosystem and local business culture.
- Proven experience driving lead generation through events or marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills in
Japanese (native level)

English (business level)

- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment under the Sales division.
- Willingness to travel domestically for events when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using CRM or marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo).
  • Strong understanding of Japan's B2B buyer journey and event-driven sales cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
