We are looking for a New Business Specialist based in the US (remote). The New Business Specialist is responsible for daily management of inbound and outbound calls, campaign and event leads in a specified territory, focusing on technology solution selling. In addition to call activities, this job requires driving results and a high level of contribution in providing qualified opportunities to the sales team supported in order to meet/exceed daily, monthly and yearly set quotas. All activities and Opportunities are required to be logged into the CRM System, along with a concise detailed description of the prospect's needs, shop profile, and the pending sale opportunity to be submitted to EFI's sales executives.
What You Will Do
- Personally represent EFI in a professional manner to its customers and prospects
- Develop a basic, and over a short time more thorough, understanding of the EFI products and value proposition
- Effectively hold a telephone conversation with a prospect in a relaxed, casual, and consultative manner in which you are able to explain the value of EFI's solutions
- Keep accurate logs of the calls and emails using , along with supplying any type of additional documentation requested by the department manager, necessary for accurate record keeping and analysis
- Develop a basic understanding of the printing industry and the product/services this market provides at the level of both a traditional and all digital printing company
- Develop a thorough working knowledge of Contact Management System
- Maintain and exceed the call quotas as measured on a daily/monthly/annual basis
- Maintain and exceed the sales opportunity creation quotas as measured on a monthly/annual basis
- Take personal responsibility for the rapid resolution of prospect requests and call backs, and escalate to manager when needed.
- Self-motivated to scan the trade journals for people quoted, companies highlighted, and new products installed and research these for lead potential
This role may be a good fit if you have:
- 2-3 years of sales experience with proven track record of successful sales performance; preferably in high value capital goods and services and / or (Digital) printing markets
- Ability to leverage relations and (y)our knowledge of the accounts
- Highly dynamic and motivated professional with excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
- Pro-activeness and autonomous
- Ability to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organization both internal and external
- Knowledge and understanding of the market trends
- Graphic Arts / printing industry experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written command is essential for this position
- Hands-on mentality with strong communication skills

The total compensation for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
$75,000-$100,000
The successful candidate's total compensation will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Compensation is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. The compensation range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
