Rakuten Travel Experiences is a department responsible for operating "Rakuten Travel Experiences," a rapidly growing new business.

Since its service launch in December 2021, we have been providing unforgettable memories to domestic and international tourists by selling travel experiences such as theme park tickets and water activities.

Position Details


In this position, you will be primarily responsible for a series of processes, from acquiring suppliers (products) of travel experiences listed on "Rakuten Travel Experiences," promoting the registration and listing of acquired products, to consulting sales for existing suppliers, and furthermore, planning, executing, verifying, systematizing strategies and tactics related to these operations, and building a sales system.

Key Responsibilities

Identification of suppliers and products to be acquired based on analysis of domestic and international tourism trends
Planning and execution of sales strategies for new suppliers (domestic and international tourist facilities, experience providers, etc.), and contract negotiation
Promotion of registration and listing of acquired products (including internal collaboration)
Regular consulting sales to existing suppliers (proposing sales improvement measures, supporting sales promotion)
Building strong relationships and maintaining long-term partnerships with suppliers
Collaboration and coordination with various internal organizations (Marketing, CS, Development, etc.) for smooth business operations
Measurement, analysis, and proposal of improvements for sales activities
Systematization and efficiency improvement of sales processes, and establishment/strengthening of the sales system

Total Department Members: 17.

Business Development Group: 9 members (1 Manager, 8 Member).

Primarily young professionals in their 20s (a flat and energetic organization with active communication).
