ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Director, your impact will be:
Enterprise Sales Leadership
Own and drive commercial activity across the Japanese market.
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles and consistently exceed ARR targets.
Build strong relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and OT/Engineering leaders.
Drive land-and-expand motions across critical infrastructure and industrial sectors.
Pipeline Generation & Growth
Generate qualified pipeline through proactive prospecting.
Develop multi-year account strategies and expand existing business.
Present compelling business value aligned to compliance, resilience, and risk reduction.
Partner & Channel Engagement
Co-sell with regional partners, SIs, MSSPs, and engineering firms.
Support partner enablement and joint account planning.
Market Representation & Collaboration
Represent Claroty at key industry and cybersecurity events.
Collaborate closely with SE, CS, Product, and Marketing teams.
Provide market insights to support regional and global strategy.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this role?
10–15 years in enterprise cybersecurity or technology sales, closing large complex deals.
Experience with cybersecurity, OT/ICS, network security, Zero Trust, IoT/IIoT, or industrial technology.
Proven quota overachievement ($3–5M+ ARR).
Experience selling into following verticals:
Automotive, Manufacturing, Food&Beverage, Oil & Gas, Commercial inc. warehouse, retail and data centers
Strong understanding of the Japanese cybersecurity ecosystem, partners, MSSPs, and government procurement.
Established relationships with enterprise customers and channels across Japan.
Sales & Technical Skills
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Ability to communicate complex technical value to both executives and OT/IT teams.
Comfortable discussing OT networks, ICS/SCADA, asset visibility, and threat detection.
Personal Attributes
Highly autonomous, proactive, and effective in high-growth environments.
Executive presence with strong influence at senior levels.
Competitive, resilient, and results-driven.
Collaborative team player across global functions.
Data-driven with strong ownership of territory performance.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in OT environments (SCADA, PLCs, manufacturing systems).
Background in cybersecurity scale-ups or emerging technology companies.
Knowledge of Challenger or Force Management selling methodologies.
Clari experience would be helpful.
