ES Finance Controller

Drive profitable growth for invivo business by being a trusted partner for marketing and sales to achieve financial target.

  • Ensure integrity of books and records, internal controls, compliant financial reporting and risk management.
  • Build, lead, and scale a talented team of finance staffs while instilling the positive and unique values of company culture.

Responsibilities include:

  • Be a strong business partner to head of Business Area and sales & marketing to achieve financial target.
  • Lead all financial planning (MTA/MBR, budgeting/forecasting, analysis, etc.) for the respective Business Area.
  • Establish and track respective actions in case of FC/BDG deviations, prepares regular business insights/commentaries for respective stakeholders.
  • Manage deal calculations and make strategic decision with all relevant stakeholders to achieve business target.
  • Driving optimal decision making through extensive financial and quantitative analysis, including P&L, cash flow, etc.
  • Interacts strongly with Zone FI departments BPC, OTC, OTO, Procurement and FI Zone/Country Business Horizontals (CS).

Accountabilities include:

  • Responsible for Zone BA FI controlling and act as single point of contact for HBA/HBL FI.
  • Provides support (focus FI) for the sales team and/or customer; performs deal escalation to HBL/HBA when required.
  • Contributes developing/implementing Business Area Zone strategy.
  • Acts as role model for the financial community; develops, promotes and mentors talents.
  • Run performance management and feedback sessions.

Requirements include:

  • Solid knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and audit handling to ensure internal business control and compliance.
  • IT literacy to drive digitalization initiative to optimize process and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skill and business acumen to work with business partners and support when making critical business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skill to work with local and global stakeholders under difficult situation.
  • Leadership skill to foster an organizational culture that promotes work and projects independently and proactively in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Both Japanese & English - Native or Advanced Business Level (Able to effectively and efficiently perform tasks required for business negotiations and discussions).

Experience includes:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in finance related area.
  • 2+ years experience in people management.
  • Experience creating an inclusive team environment that fosters trust and a sense of empowerment.
  • Bachelor or above degrees in Finance related majors.

The estimated salary is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
