Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads, and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience, style, performance, reliability, and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.

Specific Clients

IBM works with various government ministries and local governments, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Cabinet Office, Diet, and others.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with prime and large-scale projects in the government industry.
• Communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Advanced business-level Japanese (read/write/speak) essential for executing duties.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience leading major central government projects and teams.
