Who is our Client?
Our client is a is a publicly-traded, European company. Currently at a start-up phase with less than 50 people in their Japan business, they have recently launched and are scaling their food tech brand in Japan.
They are looking for a Product BI analyst with a strong focus on data analysis. You will be a part of the product team, work closely with local as well as EU stakeholders and be responsible for finding and delivering insights to drove product innovation.
What would you be doing?
To succeed in this role, you should be a data-driven analyst that, at a minimum, is comfortable working with Excel and has a passion for unearthing meaningful insights in data. In this role you will:
- extract and analyze our customer feedback & data and draw useful lessons from it to enable decisions and concrete actions regarding the recipes and menus we propose.
- brief the recipe development process: oversee the content, budget, process flow and analysis leading to the weekly culinary team briefing.
- create varied and appealing weekly menus for our clients to choose from
- manage and maintain our database to support the menu strategy and product offering.
- manage projects to further improve the relevance of our product.
- provide regular reports to local and global teams on the success of our menu, new products and the progress of key product initiatives
- Build analytical tools & dashboards to gather relevant product insights
Who you are...
- 3 - 5 years experience in a rigorous, analytical environment.
- You are passionate about food.
- You have excellent project management skills, including a history of successful business transformation projects.
- You have an excellent ability to influence key stakeholders, work cross-functionally and independently.
- You have strong analytical skills, including the ability to summarize quantitative concepts in a digestible format.
- You have an ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent command of excel. Proficiency in SQL and Tableau are major assets.
- You are fluent in English and have a good command of written and spoken Japanese.
