Job Description:
Role Summary
Consulting and Investment Proposals in the Alternative Investments Field (primarily hedge fund strategies), including analysis of current fund structures, proposals for new fund structures, and reporting (performance reports for adopted funds), under the guidance of senior staff.
Consulting, Investment Proposals, and Reporting for Hedge Fund Management (50%)
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of existing hedge fund strategy allocations for both current and new consulting clients, and prepare proposal materials aimed at building more efficient strategy structures aligned with investment objectives, under the guidance of senior staff.
Deliver client presentations using the prepared proposal materials.Support for Consulting Operations (30%)
Assist consulting activities, including those in traditional asset management, to gain experience in a broader range of consulting work.
Handle certain support tasks such as data management and report management.
Creation of Client-Facing Content and Collaboration with the Sales Department (20%)
Prepare content (materials) on financial market trends, investment strategies, and potential investment issues, along with solutions to address them.
Collaborate with the sales department to distribute and communicate the content.
Key Responsibilities
Make necessary judgments to prepare client deliverables promptly and accurately under the guidance and advice of supervisors and senior staff.
Determine priorities and adjust schedules within the scope where tasks are expected to be completed on time.
For client interactions, issues that cannot be resolved technically, or situations where tasks are unlikely to be completed within the deadline, seek advice from the senior staff member who is the direct report for the relevant task, as a general rule.
QualificationsStrong interest and commitment to investment consulting, particularly in the area of hedge fund strategies (required)
Basic skills in operating systems related to asset management (experience with applications such as Bloomberg is a plus)
Fundamental knowledge of securities markets, asset management, hedge fund strategies, and pension-related operations
Proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
English proficiency sufficient for conversation, reading English documents, and email communication
Native-level or business-level Japanese proficiency
Ability to deliver results, creativity in problem-solving, flexibility in acquiring new knowledge, reliability and sense of responsibility, teamwork and empathy, as well as efficiency, speed, and accuracy in document preparation
Preferably 3+ years of experience in asset management-related work, pension-related work, system development for investment operations, or equivalent experience (not mandatory if highly motivated to change careers)
Experience in quantitative data analysis is a plus
Experience in research related to hedge fund strategies, product management, performance reporting, or sales is a plus
Bachelor's degree or higher (required)
CMA certification (at least Level 1 preferred)

Role Summary

データ管理やレポート管理等のサポート業務を一部担う
顧客向けコンテンツの作成および営業部門との協働(20%)
金融市場の動向や運用戦略の動向、またそれに伴い発生し得る運用課題等に対するソリューションについて、コンテンツ(資料)を作成
営業部門と協働し、コンテンツを発信

定量分析資料においては数値の正確性の担保に関する判断
期限内に業務が完了すると予想される範囲内での優先順位の判断やスケジュール調整
顧客対応、技術的に解決できない事項、期限内に業務が完了しないことが予想される場合の優先順位の判断やスケジュール調整などは、原則として、上位職のうち当該業務に関する直接的な報告者に対して助言を求める
Qualifications
運用コンサルティング業務(特にヘッジファンド戦略分野)への強い興味とコミットメントを持っていること(必須)
資産運用管理に掛かるシステム操作に関わる基本的なスキル(Bloomberg等アプリケーションを使ったことがあれば尚可)
証券市場、資産運用、ヘッジファンド戦略、年金関連業務に関わる基礎的な知識
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointなどのPCアプリケーション利用スキル
英会話・英文資料読解、e-mailによる連絡ができる英語力
ネイティブもしくはビジネスレベルの日本語
結果を出す実行力、答えを工夫する創造力、新規知識の柔軟な吸収力、信頼感・責任感、チームとの協調性・共感性および資料作成における効率性・迅速性・正確性
3年以上の資産運用関連業務、年金関連業務、運用関連のシステム開発、もしくはそれに準ずる業務の経験があれば尚可(キャリア変更への熱意があればこれに限定しない)
定量的なデータ分析業務の経験があれば尚可
ヘッジファンド戦略に関する調査業務やプロダクト・マネージャ業務、運用報告業務、営業業務などの経験があれば尚可
学士以上(必須)
