Business Overview
Our mission at Rakuten Beauty is to empower both Rakuten members nationwide and beauty salons through beauty. We operate "Rakuten Beauty", a salon booking website.
While the beauty market is dominated by a few major competitors, Rakuten Beauty, backed by the Rakuten Ecosystem, enjoys high expectations from salons and continues to grow in both participating stores and user numbers.
We aim for the further development of the beauty industry and are broadly engaged in activities such as disseminating market trends, planning and operating beauty events and awards, and promoting sustainability initiatives to solve industry challenges.
We also sponsor the Rakuten Eagles and Vissel Kobe teams, continuing to reach a wide range of users through collaborative projects.

We have a bottom-up culture that values collaboration and respects the opinions of our members. The Business Unit Director also prioritizes interaction with team members.
With Salesforce and RPA engineers within the business unit, we conduct serious operational improvement activities daily and are highly conscious of improving productivity.

Business Process Re-engineering Group
The BPR Group's mission is to 'Maximize operational efficiency by leveraging data and RPA to drive visualization and automation.' To achieve this, we utilize various solutions, including BI tools, to enable data utilization, support the business unit's self-sufficiency in data utilization, and engage in RPA development.

Position DetailsThe BPR Group automates, visualizes, and streamlines various operational challenges within the business.
While data is central to our work, we have also been engaged in large-scale automation of business improvements since 2023, with a team of three dedicated RPA developers.
ResponsibilitiesTo accelerate the quality revolution at Rakuten Beauty, the BPR Group promotes business efficiency across the entire Rakuten Beauty organization
Monitoring the progress and challenges of each business efficiency theme
Resolving resource allocation and other issues between projects
Striving for the continuous improvement and self-sufficiency of business efficiency efforts
Specific Tasks
Join the Rakuten Beauty BPR Group and be assigned to business improvement projects, participating in regular meetings
Conduct interviews and gather information from various departments within Rakuten Beauty
Consider and develop solutions using vendor tools, RPA, and AI
Establish systems to prevent incidents, reduce person-hours through automation, and prevent human errors

We have 1 marketing analyst/3 tech leads/3 data analysts under the manager.
Members are mainly in their 30s.
Mandatory Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming (Java/C++/Python etc.)
