After more than 6 years of dedicated service, Mr. Naoki Matsuba – General Manager of Atlas Copco KK(Japan) will retire from his role on 31st December 2022. We are already now looking for his replacement to ensure a handover till take place to ensure a seamless succession.
Between now and the end of the year it will continue to be business as usual for Matsuba San and the AC KK management team.
Mission
The General Manager will:
* be responsible for Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet of the business.
* develop the businesses within the defined business territories, with the objective of giving all products their best chance on the market.
* assure success in our ambition to develop market share and increase consolidated profitability.
* give strong support in the development of the After Sales Market business (service and parts).
* continuously develop the organizations and the Company into an excellent, modern, well-run, homogeneous entity to satisfy our customers.
* put more focus on the direct sales efficiency and the distributor development.
* interact with the Compressor Technique areas to support the development of synergies, the consolidated result of the Divisions and the performance of the Business Area.
* develop Internet / Intranet possibilities, actively embracing and supporting global projects.
* support and grow your people in line with our corporate values Interaction, Commitment and Innovation.
* safeguard sound implementation and application of the Principles & Guidelines of the People Management in "The Way We Do Things".
This position reports to the to the CTBA President. Operational business matters will be reported to each responsible Division.
Experience requirements
The ideal candidate is a result-oriented and experienced professional with a proven track record in sales and service of industrial equipment, and a sound commercial judgement. Experience in a Customer Center environment is a prerequisite.
Educational requirements
University degree - technically and / or commercially oriented - or similar through experience.
Good knowledge of FAM and other Atlas Copco internal procedures.
Excellent command of English is a must.

Dynamic person with strong development and leadership skills, pro-active with good interpersonal skills, able to empower the team members and to create trustworthy and fair relations.
These skills should be combined with a keen interest in the culture and the way of doing business in the country.
