As an Application Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining tools to support the security team's needs. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with the global security team to enhance their capabilities through automation and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts.
- Refactor the existing codebase according to business needs.
- Track and resolve reported issues within automation scripts.
- Engineer solutions using collected data from automation scripts and systems.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of development experience in Python (Python 3 required).
- Practical experience with Python-based web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems (daily operations).
- Fundamental understanding of version control systems such as Git (preferred) or SVN.
- Strong problem-solving, consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of Docker and containerization concepts.
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing, including VM creation and tools like CloudSDK.
- Basic understanding of SQL (e.g., MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other databases).
- Previous experience in the cybersecurity industry.
