The Role & Department
The SFE Manager will be a key driver in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the field force and ensuring alignment with brand strategies and sales plans. The SFE Manager will also actively leverage AI and digital technologies to streamline operations and deliver best-in-class commercial excellence, while collaborating cross-functionally with sales and marketing stakeholders and global / external partners.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Develop and manage sales KPIs, incentive schemes, and targeting frameworks
- Optimize territory design and call planning
- Monitor and analyze sales performance against goals and KPIs
- Drive insight-based recommendations to improve field execution
- Manage field force related master data
- Collaborate with Sales Execution, Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Digital teams and global teams
- Proactively utilize AI and digital technologies to streamline processes and accelerate efficiency
- Collaborate with global teams to harmonize tools, analytics, and operational models.

Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SFE or consulting (pharma or life sciences).
- Proven experience in sales incentive schema design, KPI development / tracking, and territory management.
- Hands-on experience with CRM (Veeva preferred) and BI tools (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, Excel).
- Strong project management and process optimization experience.
- Strong business-level Japanese communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment.
Preferred Requirements (Additional Qualifications)
- Experience in utilizing AI, analytics, or digital solutions to enhance efficiency in sales or commercial operations.
- Experience working in the oncology field
- Experience working in English or collaborating with global teams
