About This Opportunity


The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and also providing guidelines and systems that assist team members to work towards achieving operational goals for iTero business in Japan.

The incumbent oversees order process, demo unit management, logistics, 3PL management, contracts, timetables and work closely with technical support operations.

At the same time, the successful candidate will also be responsible for iTero business budgets support, learning and understanding the order to cash process across various systems.


Main task is to ensure that the daily operation is running on a high service level, fulfilling all KPIs, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and partners.

In this role, you will…


Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues in a regulated international environment and overlooks supply chains in the regions.

Serves as liaison between sales, technical support, and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate process knowledge.

Duties involve, but are not limited to overlooking supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export control, shipment of goods, and third-party warehousing or services.

Inform the regional Align teams about shipment plans and liaise with clinical trainer/tech support team regarding scanner trainings and installations.

Researching new ways and alternative methods to improve operational efficiency.
Ensuring documentation of supported process and systems are existed and up to date.
Keeping team members motivated and organizing appropriate training.
Ensuring the business operates within the company's mission statement.
Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues.
Participating in IT system requirement scoping and testing for Japan


SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to communicate effectively with people in all areas of a company is vital.
Willing to reassess and reorganize when traditional solutions aren't working.

The incumbent should be able to work within a multi-cultural team and have superior interpersonal skills, able to multitask, as well as set priorities and meet deadlines.

The incumbent should also have excellent management and supervisory skills.
Knowledge and experience on SAP and SFDC will be a plus.
Good working level in English language.

iTeroビジネスを支えるオーダー処理、物流を管理し、営業や技術チームメンバーと密接に連携し、お客様により良いサービスを提供する事を目的としたチームです。日々の業務において物、情報の流れを把握・整理し、さらなる高効率なプロセスを追及する事で全体プロセス把握や改善活動に携わりつつ、さまざまなシステムにまたがる入金処理の順序の学習と理解にも責任を持ちます。

主なタスクは、顧客およびパートナーの期待とニーズを満たすスムーズで効率的なサービスで、組織がすべてのKPIを満たし、常に高品質のサービスレベルで実行されていることに責任を持ちます。

日常業務の管理、注文・物流管理、統計分析、定期的な業績報告の作成などにより、Operations SpecialistはAlign組織のさまざまな分野の管理者含む他のチームメンバーと連携・対話し、すべての関係者に情報を提供し、より高度な管理を行い組織の効率化を目指します。また、新入社員のトレーニング、スタッフのパフォーマンスに関する業務も行います。

■口腔内スキャナー「iTero(アイテロ)」とは:

スキャニングにより口腔内の3D画像データを取得でき、作成した口腔内の3D画像をモニタに表示して診療や患者説明等に使用することができます。

取得したデータは、マウスピース型矯正治療「インビザライン/IGO」の設計、製造に用いることが出来ます。

■やりがい:

歯科矯正は従来、金属製品で行われていた為、非常に目立ちやすく、痛みも生じるものでした。しかし、同社の『インビザライン/iGO』は透明で目立ちにくく、かつ簡単に着脱ができる為、抵抗感無く、歯への負担も少なく使用ができます。「目立つ、恥ずかしい」といった、矯正歯科業界の既成概念を覆し、画期的な製品で市場に新たな動きを作っていくことがやりがいです。

当該ポジションにおいては事務方として物・情報を整理し、営業から技術メンバーまでが最も効率の良いプロセスを見出し、実現に結び付ける事を目的としており、プロセス改善、企画、Cross FunctionalなCommunication能力、人材管理能力の向上が見込まれます。

■製品の特長:

最新の歯科矯正理論と、米国アライン・テクノロジー社独自の3次元画像化技術等の最先端技術を融合させた、新しいアプローチの歯科矯正治療システムです。独自の3D治療計画ソフトウェアを通じて、治療完了に至るまでの総合的な治療計画の立案・検討を行います。そしてその計画に基づき、「アライナー」と呼ばれる、透明で可撤式のマウスピース型の矯正装置が製造され、形状の異なる複数のアライナーを段階的に交換しながら、歯を除々に移動させていく仕組みです。
