Data Center Technical Engineer
You'll play a critical role in maintaining the infrastructure that powers our global services. We are looking for enthusiastic, eager-to-learn individuals who want to grow alongside our experienced technical experts and managers. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in data center management.
Key Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Datacenter technician, you will:
- Infrastructure Management:
Perform routine operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including servers, hardware assets, and security systems. - Preventive Maintenance & Upgrades:
Assist in the maintenance, upgrades, and management of data center equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Monitoring & Reliability:
Monitor the day-to-day operations of the data center to ensure stable and reliable performance. - Technical Support:
Collaborate with other teams to provide technical support and resolve daily operational issues. - Incident Response:
Participate in the handling of data center emergencies, contributing to root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reports. - Performance Optimization:
Conduct regular evaluations of data center performance and security, and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Professional certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with the principles and configurations of computer networks and data center infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- A strong eagerness to learn, a self-improvement mindset, and a commitment to professional ethics.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and Japanese is highly preferred for effective collaboration with our local teams and headquarters.
