Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Sales Specialist RDR (Ratings
Data
& Research
)
based out of our Tokyo office.
Reporting directly to Fitch Head of APAC Sales Specialist RDR, this role is to actively seek new sales opportunities and prospect huge potential cross-sell into our existing clients.
This role will have opportunities to establish, implement strategic plans to grow our Ratings and Research business for Japan, and co-ordinate with internal teams to deliver on our business target and ambition.

How You'll Make An Impact
- Actively establishing and building strong relationship with C-suites, decision makers to win new logos, and cross-selling into existing clients.
- Setting up and engaging strategic meetings with clients and potential customers to identify the new sales opportunities with strong product knowledge, market knowledge, competitive landscape and being highly organised and accomplished at solving problems and closing deals.
- Leveraging cross-functional internal teams (including Account Managers, CSM, Product Specialists, Analysts, Marketing) to develop the strategic plans to actively approach new potential customers and displace competitors.
You May Be a Good Fit If You Acquire
- Degree educated (or equivalent) within a Finance, Business, Commerce or Economics discipline
- Around 5 to 10 years of experience with business development, especially new logos hunting
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Data
- Experience in building strong relationship with C-suites, decision makers and client facing role with cold calling, product demoing and training
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with a bility to communicate clearly and concisely by email
- Confident and professional telephone manner to d evelop rapport quickly with prospective clients
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and strong initiative/result driven
- Excellent attention to detail, be pro-active and hardworking
- Proficient user of Outlook and other Microsoft applications including Excel
- Japanese Native Speaking level is required. An intermediate English level is also essential
- Knowledge of Salesforce considered a bonus
