Rakuten FinTech Group Company provides fintech services, including the credit card and other payment services, the loyalty points program, internet banking, securities trading and insurance.

※This requisition is open for a related position to Infrastructure Engineer within Rakuten FinTech Group Company. When you apply to this requisition you shall agree to have the selection process within all the FinTech companies, and you shall receive the further notice at the suitable requisitions separately.
Position Details
You will be responsible for planning strategy and taking a lead position for the infrastructure of fintech (financial) services, including credit cards and other payment services, Rakuten point programs, Internet banking services, securities trading services, insurance services, R-Pay, Edy, and Rakuten Wallet.
You will flexibly consider about any layer of infrastructure such as network, server, database, datacenter, DevOps engineer and take the activities with technical challenges that make use of your strengths.
Infrastructure engineer: promotion of infrastructure standardization and design guidelines, and development of infrastructure strategy across the FinTech Group. Technical and Operation support is also included.
Project Management: You will lead the projects for various type and work with external vendors and partner companies to complete it as the infrastructure lead.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working as an infrastructure (Network/DB/Server/DC etc) engineer or architect
- Experience of usage any one of the Linux/Unix/Windows /Cisco IOS/NX-OS/Oracle/MySQL
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Cloud Build/Azure DevOps)
- Experience in implementing or usage of a Public Cloud environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in comparing and analyzing cloud services such asPaaS/SaaS/IaaS, etc.
- DB design experience
- Experience in container management tools (e.g. AKS/GKE/Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience in implementing or usage of a configuration management system (e.g., Chef/Ansible/Terraform)
- Experienced in L3-L7 network design and deep knowledge in protocols
- Experience in CDN design and operation (e.g. AKAMAI/Fastly/Azure CDN)
- Front-end application development experience
- Scrum Master and project management experience.
- Experience in QA and application testing development
- Experience in operating of Docker/Kubernetes in production service environments
- Experience in either MySQL/Cassandra/Oracle/Hadoop
- Design of PCIDSS/FISC compliant environment
Additional Information On Secondment
This position is a seconded position from Rakuten Group, Inc. to an FinTech company which will be decided during the selection processes, and it shall be announced when the process starts.
