We're looking for a People Operations Manager to help build and scale People Ops for a fast-growing, market-entry SaaS company expanding across APAC. You'll lay the HR foundations in Japan, strengthen regional operations, and become the trusted go-to partner for employees and leaders. What You'll Do:
- Serve as the main People Ops contact for Japan & Thailand; support APAC as needed
- Manage full employee lifecycle processes (onboarding → offboarding)
- Advise managers on employee relations, compliance, and local HR practices
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and coordination with external vendors/EOR partners
- Support entity setup, benefits administration, and People documentation
- Collaborate with global People Ops & HRIS teams on processes and system improvements
What You Bring:
- Native-level Japanese & strong English
- Proven People Operations experience in Japan; APAC exposure is a plus
- Strong understanding of Japanese employment law and HR processes
- Hands-on experience with payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle
- Collaborative, organized, proactive, and solution-focused
