Responsibilities:
- Lead the alignment of local and regional objectives with global HR priorities.
- Act as an expert in HR operations, focusing on delivering a best-in-class employee experience and managing operations both offshore and in-house.
- Inspire and guide a team of 5-6 members, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and innovation.
- Drive compliance with employment regulations and monitor legislative changes, acting as an advisor on regulatory matters.
- Oversee government employment reporting and ensure accurate employee data management while adhering to regional/local data privacy policies.
- Manage internal and external HR audits and serve as the primary escalation point for operational challenges and project collaborations.
- Analyze trends and review service tickets to identify opportunities for enhancing customer-centricity and operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes, practices, and communications to elevate service excellence.
- Document and update HR operations policies and processes accordingly.
- Serve as the process owner for key HR systems, driving digitalization initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience in HR operations with a blend of operations and project management experience.
- Expertise in case management systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and human capital management environments (e.g., SuccessFactors or Workday).
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, particularly in Japan, with the ability to implement them within the organization.
- Japanese language proficiency to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
- Possess a growth mindset and openness to embrace changes.
