TEAM
Our mission is to advance automated driving technology through data-driven development of automated driving software based on Machine Learning, to maximize the fun of driving, and to contribute to the zero-nization of traffic deaths and injuries. To be number one in the automated driving industry, agile software development is necessary. In order to increase the speed and quality of software development, it is important to reproduce and validate the many complex traffic scenes that occur in the market. The App tool chain team uses agile development methods to develop simulations and utilize them to create a testing environment for automated driving software. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about developing automated driving systems and are excited to work with us to create a better future for mobility. Our day to day task is to develop and operate a tool chain that supports the test driven development of software for automated driving. Skills in modern software development and simulation environment building and solid experiences in developing Model, Software and Hardware In the Loop Simulator in developing real time systems are the essential prerequisite.
Responsibilities
- Building a simulation test environment for Machine Learning based planner software (MILS/SILS/HILS)
- Construct Automated test platform (CI/CD)
- Test scenario generation and traffic flow simulation model development
- Work at our office 3 days a week per our hybrid work policy and report to the software engineering manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in developing and testing Machine Learning software for automotive or embedded applications with ML infrastructure
- Understanding of relevant regulations (ISO/PAS 8800, etc.)
- 3+ years experience of software development or system design and evaluation in automotive software development or embedded industry
- 3+ years professional experience using Python
- 3+ years experience with C and C++ language (including professional and academia)
- Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Python, MATLAB simulink/Stateflow, OpenCV, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience designing system architecture
- Data mining / analytical skills
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural software development team using English
- Familiarity with development experience Test pipeline like AWS/Azure
- Knowledge of simulator standards (OpenSimurationInterface, OpenScenario, OpenDrive)
- Agile development experience
