Responsible for the core businesses of Rakuten Group, Inc.
E-commerce (Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Travel, GORA, RAKUMA, Entertainment Contents, etc.) and Web advertising-related businesses and services.
Operations Management Department
Consolidates HQ functions and business support (back office) functions of C&M Company. Responsible for overall management including contract and procurement management with business partners, service quality management, communication with customers, compliance and risk management, and legal and public relations.

Consists of departments with functions such as GRC (Governance/Risk/Compliance), Legal/Liaison, Internal Control, and Investigation & Audit.

Responsible for strengthening internal control and data governance of businesses/services/affiliated companies, etc. under the jurisdiction of Commerce & Marketing Company.

Position Details
General Internal Control Operations and Management
Internal Control
Assumption, evaluation, monitoring, auditing, improvement proposals, and support for improvement activities for businesses, services, and affiliated companies under Commerce & Marketing Company's jurisdiction.
Pre- and post-release risk response and improvement confirmation for new service releases
Data Governance
Establishment of rules/processes/operations for Rakuten Ichiba data utilization and streamlining of risk analysis and screening operations.
Review of information disclosure rules, awareness-raising and education activities, and monitoring.
*Plans to manage not only Governance and Control Section, but also Forensic and Audit Section.
Attractiveness
The ability to be involved in a wide variety of businesses, new businesses, and new services managed by Commerce & Marketing Company.
Lead the overall internal control enhancement operations, including risk assessment and mitigation, fraud prevention and deterrence, compliance with laws, regulations, rules, etc., improvement activities, and awareness-raising and education activities for businesses and operating organizations.
To be able to contribute to the improvement of reliability and efficiency of business and services, as well as to medium- and long-term development and expansion of the company.

Internal audit and internal control work for an EC company
Investigations and investigations for the Metropolitan
Police Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, etc.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Experience in internal control or internal audit related work
Organizational/member management or project management experience (leading projects with multiple organizations and stakeholders)
Leadership and communication skills
Understanding of service models and business processes
Analytical skills and ability to solve problems and propose improvements
Desired Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of business-related laws and regulations(especially corporate law, accounting, consumer protection, privacy, etc.)
Experience in BPR and business process improvement
Experience in risk management
Experience in risk management
Projects related to e-commerce services or web advertising services
