About the Role

  • Support and implement health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) measures across Japan and designated project sites.
  • Deliver first aid and urgent pre-hospital care at project locations when required.
  • Lead and promote HSSE programs, campaigns, and improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams on HSSE-related issues and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain project-specific HSSE risk assessments, procedures, and plans.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of HSSE standards among the workforce.
  • Identify gaps in HSSE performance and advise management on corrective actions.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and prepare detailed reports.
  • Attend and contribute to project, HSSE, and management meetings.
  • Review contractual HSSE obligations and provide guidance to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in external HSSE audits and carry out internal audits.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor safety standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to Japanese regulations, organizational HSSE frameworks, and client requirements.
