About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to oversee operations in Japan for a leading global company in the mobile app marketing and retargeting industry. This is the most senior role in Japan and will act as the day-to-day leader for the local team, ensuring strong performance and continued market growth.
The ideal candidate will be a "playing manager" — someone who thrives on both leadership and hands-on client engagement. You will mentor and guide a team of talented sales and account management professionals, while also maintaining close relationships with key clients and agency partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales and account management team functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients and agencies.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Collaborate with global leadership to align local strategy with international objectives.
- Represent the company in the Japanese market, maintaining a strong local presence and reputation.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, mobile marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of Japan's digital ecosystem and agency landscape.
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- A hands-on leader who enjoys both strategy and execution.
