You will continue developing a local network and repair infrastructure with vendors and suppliers to ensure fast, localized steam turbine repair during overhauls, or whenever technical customer support is needed. Through the establishment of a reliable local network and stronger collaboration with local vendors, it will enable faster response times, minimize turbine downtime, and enhance overall customer satisfaction

How You'll Make An Impact

• Responsible for planning and execution of steam turbine repair projects: You'll manage and implement repair work on Siemens Energy steam turbines
• Turbine inspection and fact finding (on-site and in workshops): You'll inspect turbine components during turbine outages and identify damage or wear and initiate appropriate actions
• Development of repair strategies: Following diagnosis, you'll develop effective strategies for component repair or refurbishment
• Support for the professional qualification of subcontractors: You'll ensure that subcontractors possess the necessary professional qualifications and support them in further education and capability ramp up.
• Customer Contact: You will maintain regular communication with local customers to understand their technical needs for repairs, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
• Close collaboration with project management and sales: You'll work closely with project management to ensure all technical aspects of the projects are carried out efficiently. You'll provide technical advice and support to the local sales team.
• Close collaboration with the Product Competence Center (Headquarters): You'll collaborate with technical experts at the headquarter to ensure the best technical solution to customer is provided

What You Bring

• Entrepreneurial approach: You have the drive and motivation to proactively identify and implement new projects and innovations within the company
• Qualification: You've completed a university degree in engineering or have equivalent practical experience, preferably in the steam turbine sector
• Extensive Professional Experience: You bring a wealth of experience in the international repair and engineering environment with hands-on experience in field service, working directly with the equipment
• Language: You can communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and Japanese.
• Intercultural Awareness: You have experience dealing with different cultures and enjoy working in an international environment.
• Soft Skills: You are proactive, communicative, collaborative, customer-focused, and result-oriented.
