About The Role
As a Game Publishing Producer, you will support the launch and publishing of our subscription-based mobile game offerings in our Game Vault. You will work with multiple departments internally and external developers to guide workback schedules, mitigate risk, and help ensure a smooth and scalable games operations from start to finish.

You will be a critical liaison between the production, marketing, product, and analytics teams. You will oversee simultaneous releases across multiple platforms and ensure that all teams are on the same page.

This role is ideal for a detail-driven operator who is passionate about games, anime, and bringing engaging experiences to life.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Oversee our game publishing from start to finish, including developer onboarding, milestone management, game submissions, and store page submissions.
  • Work with QA and Platform Ops teams to ensure builds meet quality, technical, and compliance requirements, including our Crunchyroll Login integrations.
  • Participate in carrying out game launches, content updates, and ongoing feature deployments across multiple titles and platforms.
  • Be the operational contact for external developers, ensuring adherence to schedules through the enforcement of milestone approval or disapproval following established contracts or internal processes.
  • Identify risks early and often, and remove roadblocks and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate across marketing, brand, platform, and customer experience teams to prepare for releases and ensure alignment throughout a game's lifecycle.
  • Familiarize yourself by playing games that you produce and participating in our curation process by playing and assessing future titles for mobile platforms.
  • Coordinate end-to-end localization workflows, ensuring all content is high-quality, IP-consistent, and delivered on time for global audiences.
  • Communicate Japanese and English localization and technical needs to vendors and our teams, maintaining an organized feedback loop between all partners.

In the role of Game Publishing Producer, you will report to the VP, Games Production.

About You

  • 5+ years of games industry experience, including mobile, PC, and console platforms
  • 4+ years of publishing and production experience in games
  • Experience managing end-to-end production workflows autonomously
  • Experience balancing publisher needs with production realities, and excel at the intersection of creative, technical, and business goals
  • Native to Business-level Japanese and English skills
  • Experience driving alignment between external development partners and multiple departments internally through nuanced communications
  • Experience with project management
  • Excel at communication and documentation, and can create clarity and accountability across multiple departmental teams by following up
  • Understand the anime fandom and what makes anime-inspired gaming experiences resonate with audiences
  • Experience providing process efficiencies through optimization
  • Experience with store page optimization on App Store and Google Play
