Job purpose:
Guarantee the consistent deployment, implementation and follow-up of the training programs to the Retail personnel in the region and works closely with Retail and WW Retail Excellence team to drive the training activities of the region.
Job Responsibilities :
Oversee the planning, prioritization and development of local retail training and learning initiatives, ensuring that training is aligned with business strategy and organizational needs.
Provide store staff with the necessary training to ensure that the store is consistently operated in line with brand standards, customer experience and brand image.
Regularly visit stores in need of performance improvement, identify areas for improvement in store staff performance, provide on-the-job training and support staff performance improvement.
Work cross-functionally with Training, Retail, Human Resources and Merchandising to ensure projects meet customer expectations and that recommended changes are documented.
Implement WW Training strategies ensuring consistent execution across store organization of new employee induction programs, selling ceremony and managerial training for Retail.
Encourage store associates to use digital tools to learn effectively and contribute to improving associate skills.Provide feedback to the global team on the content of the digital tools as required and suggest more effective learning content.
Work with the CRM team to identify customer management issues and how to improve return rates to increase customer sales and provide training and support to store members as required.
Conduct needs analysis to identify and define present/future training needs and communicates needs to the WW Retail Excellence team.Reporting each plan and execution to region and WW Retail Excellence team.
Job Requirements:
2-3 years experience in a similar position (preferably in a customer-oriented retail environment – luxury fashion)
In-store sales experience is an advantage.
Passionate in fashion, retail and luxury industry
Fluent in spoken and written Japanese and English
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel with a positive teamwork attitude and strong interest in developing people skills
Ability to travel both in the Region and to the Head Office as needed
Comfortable working through ambiguity and in a fast-paced dynamic environment
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Power Point)
