About the RoleAs a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with English-speaking engineers in overseas subsidiaries to design and implement autonomous AI agents leveraging predictive and generative models.
This role focuses heavily on Japanese-language NLP, model evaluation, and improving data quality across multilingual datasets.You will contribute both to hands-on engineering and architectural design, helping deliver AI-driven value to users more quickly and at scale.

Position (Responsibilities)
Overview
Lead the design and implementation of autonomous AI agents using predictive and generative models
Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready ML solutions
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with English-speaking engineers in overseas teams on service development
Design, implement, and validate machine learning models, particularly for NLP use cases
Lead CI/CD pipelines, training workflows, monitoring, and version control based on MLOps best practices
Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability
Design and implement LLM fine-tuning and training strategies
Stay current with trends in machine learning, MLOps, and LLMs, and proactively propose new technical approaches
Product Integration Examples
Automating research operations using generative AI to significantly improve expert-matching accuracy
Generating expert outreach messages and client-facing recommendation content using AI
Exploring RAG-based systems to personalize content feeds based on individual interests and career data
Salary
Annual Compensation:
JPY 7,000,000 – 15,000,000
Monthly salary includes fixed overtime and late-night allowances
Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role expectations
Salary reviews twice a year; performance-based bonus once per year
Qualifications
Required
Hands-on experience developing and operating machine learning models using NLP (1+ year), or equivalent data science experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
Business-level English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
Business-level Japanese proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
Preferred
Experience developing in public cloud environments
Experience growing a product through continuous development and operation in collaboration with non-engineering teams
