Job Title: Security Specialist
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security aspects of our international luxury goods retailer, including:
• Monitoring and controlling security at stores, country headquarters, warehouses, and workshops
• Implementing and managing security protocols, including monitoring the number of agents and costs associated with security companies
• Analyzing bids for various services, such as security, maintenance, and transportation, and conducting financial analysis
• Developing and implementing cost control and optimization strategies
• Conducting security audits, loss prevention, and reducing stock shortfalls
• Participating in crisis management and business continuity planning (BCP)
• Communicating with insurance agents, authorities, and police departments to ensure seamless operations
• Monitoring technological and regulatory developments to stay ahead of potential security threats
• Organizing and monitoring security for events, exhibitions, conventions, seminars, and staff sales
• Ensuring the safe transportation and exhibition of jewelry pieces
• Providing training sessions on store manager security, safety, stock shortfalls, and jewelry procedures
• Protecting confidential information, new product information, customer data, and social media account policies
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor security systems across all locations
• Oversee the implementation of security protocols and procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, authorities, and police departments
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with security standards
• Stay up-to-date with technological and regulatory developments to inform security strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures
• Provide training and guidance to store managers and staff on security best practices
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as security or law enforcement
• At least 5 years of experience in a security-related role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
