[Ideal Candidate Profile]
A strategic, innovative, and collaborative data leader, well-versed in the Japanese business environment and fluent in both Japanese and English. You possess expertise in data strategy, analytics, and technology consulting, and are passionate about solving complex business challenges for organizations.

[Main Responsibilities]

• Design and deliver data solutions (strategy, architecture, engineering, analytics, governance) for Japanese enterprise clients
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and proposing appropriate solutions
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and architects
• Lead projects from strategy through execution for complex data initiatives and AI solutions, driving successful project delivery
• Design and implement modern data platforms, such as cloud data warehouses, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
• Support clients on data governance, privacy, security, and compliance (including Japanese regulations)
• Foster the development and identify growth opportunities for Slalom's data team in Japan
• Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the team
• Stay informed about industry and technology trends relevant to the Japanese market

[Qualifications]

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent knowledge/experience in related fields
• 5+ years of practical experience in data consulting, analytics, or related fields
• Proven leadership in designing and implementing complex data initiatives and Gen AI projects, with a track record of delivering business value
• Ability to clearly communicate technical AI concepts relevant to business
• Creative and collaborative mindset
• Expertise in data strategy, architecture, engineering, and analytics. Practical experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
• Ability to understand client needs and identify opportunities for improvement through data utilization
• Experience in project leadership, employee mentorship, and client engagement
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance in the Japanese market

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with AI/ML platforms, data science, and advanced analytics
• Certifications related to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Advanced knowledge of architecture, training, operation of LLM/SLM, and AI agents
• Experience in Japan's finance, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare industries
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills in both Japanese and English

• コンピューターサイエンス、データサイエンス、エンジニアリング、数学などの学士号または修士号、または同等の知識・関連分野での経験
• データコンサルティング、アナリティクス、関連分野で5年以上の実務経験
• 複雑なデータ施策やGen AIプロジェクトの設計~導入のリーダー経験、ビジネス価値創出の実績
