1. Job Brief:
The Treasury Assistant Manager is responsible to assist tasks regarding the bank's financial aspects. In the absence of Treasurer, Assistant Manager is responsible to report and make management be aware of all financial activity of the organization. S/He will be supporting Treasurer by all means, including but not limited to the bank's financial planning and progress, and daily trouble shooting. The goal will be to provide support to Treasurer in the areas of financial management and other Traders in the areas of daily activities.
This person also plays a role as Relationship Manager for Financial Institutions in APAC region. S/he is expected to manage both existing and new client portfolios enhancing the capacity of the branch as a liquidity center.
2. Pre Requirement:
a) Minimum 10 years of Banking (Financial Institution) experience or its equivalent
b) Desirable Knowledge:
1. Deep knowledge / understanding in banking rules and regulations
2. Deep knowledge / understanding in treasury business
3. Basic knowledge / understanding in capital market
4. Basic knowledge / understanding in derivative business
5. Basic knowledge in financial market in general other than the above mentioned area
6. Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
7. Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties
8. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
9. Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
10. Good organizational and time management skills
11 Fluent in both Japanese and English

b) Core Responsibility:
Treasury Assistant Manager
1. Prepare daily cash flow report
2. Prepare daily Risk Scenario Report
3. Submit/deliver reports to relevant department
4. Execute daily FX transactions in trader's absence
5. Provide daily operational report
6. Organize ALCO committee meeting
7. Assist Senior Members with developing, analyzing and finalizing deals with representatives of FIs
Relationship Manager
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with client financial institutions
2. Identify client needs and process tailored financial solutions
3. Leverage group resources to deliver comprehensive services
4. Lead deal execution by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
5. Analyze market trends and develop strategic business approaches
