The Role
The National Sales Manager,whilst reporting to Zone Manager, will lead a team of 4 sales professionals, focused on direct sales, with the purpose of achieving Company short and long term financial and operating objectives (sales revenue, product mix, SG&A, DSO, etc.) The individual will have the responsibilities of ensuring that the strategies and field activities are properly managed in term of efficiency, expertise, performance, behaviour and respect of Markem-Imaje rules & process to obtain the expected results.
What you will do:
Responsible for achievement of commercial (sales) results of Direct Sales team
Constantly achieving sales target of Direct Sales team through acquire new customers and stabilize/develop existing business
Personally lead sales initiatives development and the change to solution selling
Personally engage into big opportunities/projects to accelerate unit sales
Control and monitor the performance against standards / objectives
Close monitoring of pipeline management, provide on time accurate forecast and alert in case of gap or issue vs forecast / plan
Together with Zone Manager, Japan, to define 3 years strategy, annual business plan and AOP
Responsible for achieving financial performance
Well manage the DSO and Past Due
Control SG&A and stock at right level
Partner with HR to develop sales organization to a solid high-performance team
Ensure that all team are optimized and well-coordinated across the organization
Communicate business objectives / plans and well manage the change
Implement sales competency model to develop team capability
Attract, recruit and retain key talents
Ensure the implementation of Social, Environment and Safety company country rules. Guarantee the internal consistency and compliance of the practice's vs the law & regulations. Make sure local and company obligations are properly fulfilled.
What you need to have:
Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent business experience in the same or similar industry
Minimum 10 years of Sales/Marketing/Account Management experience in the related industry and in global company.
Willingness to travel, 50% frequency
KPI Management skill and Project Management skill and those experience
Key Competencies:
Strong operational knowledge of the Company's products and services offered.
Detailed orientation with the ability to be hands-on in deploying and drive business transformation and organization changes.
Experienced level of strategic/value/solution selling, sales forecast and negotiation skills. Experienced in lead and funnel management.
Entrepreneur spirit to be able to drive new and creative initiatives for both defence and growth initiatives.
Financial and analytical ability to look for data and understand the importance of metrics to drive the business.
Excellent communication skill to enable interaction with internal and external stakeholders/ customers, both in Japanese and English languages.
Sales/growth driven, results/customer oriented and a team player.
